Eric Johnson, an American Medical Response paramedic based in Boulder Creek and Santa Cruz, has completed 30 years as a paramedic with the organization.

Johnson, who now lives in Aptos, is the son of Walt and the late Bobbie Johnson of Ben Lomond. He is also a San Lorenzo Valley High School graduate.

Dean’s list achiever

Shannon Charlton from Scotts Valley has been named to the dean’s list for both the fall 2008 and spring 2009 semesters at San Diego State University.

Charlton is the daughter of Robert and Janine Charlton of Scotts Valley and is a graduate of Scotts Valley High School.
