Mountain Dream nets tourney win

After falling to Soquel in the championship game of the Blast by the Bay tournament in early July, the Mountain Dream softball team won the Pleasant Hill 14-and-under B-division fastpitch softball tournament July 19.

The team finished the Blast by the Bay tournament with a 4-1 record and won the Pleasant Hill tournament with a 6-1 record.

The team continues to fundraise for the Western Regional Championships in Utah that kick off Tuesday, July 28. All donated money helps cut the cost for the individual players to make the trip. Families and spectators will pay their own way.
