Teresa Ann “Ma” Richardson

May 16, 1955 to July 21, 2014

Teresa Ann “Ma” Richardson, 55-year resident of Felton, passed away on July 21, 2014 at the age of 59.

Born in New Mexico on May 16, 1955 to parents Juanita Futch and Ed Marshall, Richardson — best known as “Ma” — was most famous for her berry pies on Highway 9. People came from all over to buy one of “Ma's Pies.”

She was a caregiver for many years, a job that was ideally suited for her wisdom, courage, strength, her generous spirit, and unconditional love for all.

Richardson loved to travel, play bingo, do arts and crafts, and spend time with her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She also loved spending time with her beloved pets, Shakka, Coby, and Cutie.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Richard “Pa” Frankoni, her daughter and son-in-law Melina and Roy Carls of San Rafael, as well as her parents, Juanita Futch of Zayante, and Ed Marshall of Ben Lomond.

She is also survived by her siblings David, Ron, Michael, Sherrie and Crystal, along with five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 at Felton Cemetery on Felton Empire Road.
