Majors:  Rockies 25, Dodgers 9
The Rockies scored early and didn’t stop in taking the championship game of SLVLL’s end-of-season tournament. Owen Andrews blasted two 3-run home runs, and every Rockies player scored in the game. On the hill, RJ Kindred and Seamus McMilan threw very accurately. With the game out of reach, the Dodgers’ star Aidan Callahan got into a 1-0 pitch for a 3-run bomb to center in his final regular season Little League at bat. The Rockies go on to the Tournament of Champions where they will face Pajaro Valley at 7:30 p.m. on June 9 at Harvey West.
Minors:  Tigers 5, Red Sox 4
The Tigers and Red Sox finished their third one-run game in a row, with the Tigers winning the championship game in a well-played final. Luke Reason and Robbie Matajcich pitched strong for the Tigers. They were equalled by Ryan Hodge and LuLu Mattingly of the Red Sox. The Sox’s Rider Saunders made several good plays at third to stop Tiger rallies. The Tigers move on to the District 39 TOC where they will play Santa Cruz National at 1 p.m. June 8 at Live oak.
AA: Red Sox 3, Angels 0
The Red Sox threw their second shutout of the tournament to win the title on Saturday. Kai Groleau helped with four shutout innings, hits at the plate, and defensive plays.
