Real estate office not moving
Although the Boulder Creek Fire District purchased the building, Century 21 Showcase Realtors in Boulder Creek has no plans to move from its longstanding location at 13210 Highway 9.
The fire district bought the building from Steve and Randy Ziganti in December, but agreed on a four-year lease so Century 21 would remain in the front portion of the office.
The district has sealed off and sound-proofed the back of the office so it’s portion of the building can be used as a weight training facility for firefighters.
According to Randi Ziganti of Century 21, business at the office is booming.
“It’s crazy right now,” she said. “Real estate has seen more growth in the last three months than last year (total), and last year was good. Buyers are feeling it’s time to jump on the stick. They’re more confident.”
The Century 21 office in Boulder Creek has eight agents, including new addition Paul Lazaga. Agents in the office sell properties at all price points and of all kinds, Ziganti said.
