Santa Cruz County Department of Public Works announced today that motorist can expect delays and possible lane closures on Graham Hill Road on Tuesday, March 5, as crews will be working to activate the newly installed traffic signals at the intersection with Lockewood Lane.
The three-way signals — funded by a $450,000 federal grant — are part of a project which also lengthened the left-hand turn lane onto Lockewood Lane and added wheelchair-accessible ramps to the intersection’s crosswalks.

This cost taxpayers $500,000. Crazy waste of money and gas.
Then we all sit there and wait for nothing.
I had to stop on Graham Hill Rd to let a single car on Lockwood make a right turn, then before we could gain our speed the light turned red again to allow another Lockwood vehicle to make a left turn.
