Jan. 26

Midnight: A man was arrested on the 4200 block of La Madrona Drive in Santa Cruz during a welfare check when deputies determined he was under the influence of methamphetamine.

Midnight: A woman was arrested at the intersection of Graham Hill and Roaring Camp roads in Felton for a pair of felony warrants after deputies recognized her behind the wheel of her vehicle.

11:30 a.m.: A resident of Felton Empire Road in Bonny Doon reported that his home had been burglarized after someone had forced open a door.

 

Jan. 25

1:16 a.m.: A woman was arrested and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail in Santa Cruz for a felony warrant after deputies found her inside a parked vehicle on the 100 block of Garden Lane in Boulder Creek.

 

Jan. 24

Midnight: Deputies arrested a man at the intersection of Highway 9 and San Lorenzo Avenue for public intoxication after receiving a call about a drunk man. The man was taken to Dominican Hospital and treated for alcohol-related problems before being transported to Santa Cruz County Jail.

 

Jan. 23

10 a.m.: A business owner on the 6200 block of Highway 9 in Ben Lomond reported that someone had entered his office and shed. Several tools stored in the shed were reported stolen.

 

Jan. 12

5 p.m.: A resident of the 500 block of Hillcrest Drive in Felton reported that someone had burglarized his garage and stolen numerous items, valued at roughly $10,850.

Jan. 29

4:18 a.m.: A man reported that someone had stolen a trailer that had been parked behind his workplace on Butler Lane after 8 p.m. Jan. 28.

 

Jan. 28

1:27 a.m.: Officers pulled over a vehicle on southbound Highway 17, near the Sims Road exit, after they watched the car straddling the middle line for about a mile. The driver was arrested and released at the scene with a court date after the officers determined that his license had been suspended.

12:39 p.m.: A resident of the Forest Hills Motorhome Park on Scotts Valley Drive reported that an estimated $3,000 in jewelry was missing from inside a home.

1:13 p.m.: Officer took a report after a man allegedly stole women’s clothes from inside a dryer at a laundry facility on Mount Hermon Road. He was said to have left the scene in his purple van.

 

Jan. 26

2:17 p.m.: A man was arrested on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road after allegedly trying to leave a store without paying. The man, who was on probation for theft, was also determined to be under the influence of drugs.

9:24 p.m.: A man was arrested at a store on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road after store employees spotted him — and an unidentified accomplice serving as a lookout — attempting to shoplift acne cream and cosmetics.

 

Jan. 25

3:18 p.m.: A man was arrested and released with a citation on Scotts Valley Drive after he allegedly threw a football at a moving vehicle being driven by a man with whom he had a feud. The two men were arguing when officers arrived at the scene.
