Jan. 5

12:51 a.m.: A woman was arrested when deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress at an apartment on the 6700 block of Highway 9 in Felton. The woman had been recently evicted from the apartment and had re-entered by breaking a window.

2:18 p.m.: A resident of the 1500 block of Robin Hood Lane in Boulder Creek was arrested after a police investigation determined that he had stolen an all-terrain vehicle and sold it in November by using falsified Department of Motor Vehicles documents and forging the owner’s name.

Jan. 7

8:29 a.m.: A man was arrested for public drunkenness after employees of a bank on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road were unable to open the front door because he was asleep in his sleeping bag in front of the bank.

10:40 a.m.: A purse was reported stolen by a customer at a restaurant on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road. The purse, which held an iPod and a cellphone, was left behind overnight by its owner, a young girl, who forgot it in the lobby. The restaurant owner claims to have security footage of the purse being taken.

 

Jan. 6

1:31 a.m.: A man was allegedly attacked by his brother and lacerated with a knife at a residence on Mount Hermon Road. According to witnesses, several people were at the residence drinking, and the man asked them to leave. The brother became angry, kicked down a door and attacked the man with a knife before being restrained by the others. The wounded man was not seriously hurt. His brother was arrested.

9:43 a.m.: Employees of a business on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road reported that the back wall of the building had been tagged with graffiti.

10:21 p.m.: During a traffic stop for a defective taillight, a motorist was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license on northbound Highway 17 near the Santa’s Village Road exit. His vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

Jan. 4

4:30 p.m.: Several young teenagers were caught on the roof at Scotts Valley Middle School and issued a warning for trespassing on school property.

 

Jan. 3

1:28 p.m.: A vehicle was reportedly vandalized with a key and its license plates stolen while it was parked outside a business on Scotts Valley Drive.

3:17 p.m.: A woman who was allegedly yelling and screaming at people on the 300 block of Kings Village Road was arrested for public drunkenness.

10:19 p.m.: A vehicle that had been reported stolen in San Jose was found unoccupied outside a business on the 200 block of Mount Hermon Road. License plates from another vehicle were found on it, and the ignition had been drilled. The vehicle was towed.

 

Jan. 2

12:54 a.m.: During a traffic stop on Glen Canyon Road, officers determined that the driver had been driving on a suspended license and had a warrant out for his arrest. He was arrested and released with a court date.

10:20 a.m.: Employees of a gas station on Scotts Valley Drive reported receiving a counterfeit $50 bill on Dec. 30.
