Sept. 22

3 a.m.: A resident of the 200 block of Green Valley Road in Scotts Valley reported that someone had stolen a mountain bike from inside a locked laundry room. Someone also broke into a parked vehicle, but nothing was reported stolen.

8 a.m.: A Ben Lomond resident found that someone had broken into her locked vehicle where it was parked on the 100 block of Morningside Drive and had stolen a GPS device and a CD case. The CD case was later found and returned to the woman.


Sept. 21

10 p.m.: Several items were reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on the 100 block of Green Valley Road in Scotts Valley.


Sept. 18

Midnight: Deputies found a man walking naked on the 200 block of Hilltop Court in Boulder Creek who allegedly appeared to be under the influence of drugs. According to the deputies, the man did not follow their instructions, and they shocked him with a stun gun and arrested him.

2 p.m.: Deputies requested an arrest warrant for a man after he allegedly threatened to kill a second man on the 6200 block of Graham Hill Road in Felton.

5:25 p.m.: Deputies arrested a man on the 9500 block of Highway 9 in Ben Lomond who allegedly punched another man in the face, leaving him with a cut on his face and a broken nose.

9 p.m.: A teenager was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property on the 1000 block of Lockhart Gulch Road in Scotts Valley. The teenager was booked into Santa Cruz County Juvenile Hall in Felton.

Sept. 23

2:30 p.m.: A scooter, described as white with black bars and red wheels, was reported stolen from the skate park at Skypark. The owner’s friend described the person who allegedly took it as a 15-year-old boy, about 5-foot-9, with a tan complexion.


Sept. 22

3:29 a.m.: A cab driver reported that he chased a passenger on foot down Civic Center Drive after the passenger left the cab without paying.

3:58 p.m.: A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at the intersection of Whispering Pines and Estrella drives, where the vehicle he was driving crashed into two unoccupied vehicles.

10:03 a.m.: A silver Specialized Rockhopper mountain bike was reported stolen from Scotts Valley Middle School, 8 Bean Creek Road.

3:46 p.m.: Officers took a report after a man allegedly stuffed three pieces of chicken and ribs in his pants and left a market on the first block of Victor Square without paying. Witnesses said the man drove away in a silver Audi.


Sept. 20

3:35 p.m.: An iPhone was reported stolen from inside the girls locker room at Scotts Valley High School, 555 Glenwood Drive.


Sept. 18

6:01 p.m.: Someone at a business on the 400 block of Scotts Valley Drive reported that an unknown person had broken into the storeroom and taken several items. Staff members were still determining how much was missing when police took the report.
