Gateway Bible Church in Scotts Valley has hired Gary Anderson as its new student ministries pastor. Anderson began in the post July 1 overseeing children’s and youth programs at the church.
Anderson comes to Scotts Valley from Santee, near San Diego, where he recently graduated from Southern California Seminary with a master’s degree in religious studies. Anderson worked as a youth pastor and director at various churches since 1995 before earning his master’s degree.
He moves to Scotts Valley with his wife, Tami, and four teenage children, Isaac, Tatiana, Beatriz and Caleb.
