EDITOR,

I am endorsing our own 5th District Supervisor Mark Stone to represent us as assemblyman in District 29.

Throughout his years as supervisor, on more occasions than I can count, I called upon Stone for assistance, advice and action necessary during times before, during and after a disaster to ensure the safety and protection of the people living in the San Lorenzo Valley and Scotts Valley areas. He acted immediately and made things happen.

His strong commitments to protect our environment and work with organizations and individuals to improve the Child Welfare System and other quality-of-life problems make him an excellent choice to represent us as assemblyman.

Besides all this, anyone that can tackle swimming the English Channel can tackle anything!

Annette Marcum, Ben Lomond

I won't vote for him. I am VERY disappointed in his behavior. He hasn't focused on this valley since expressing his intent to run for assembly. No more good old boys! We need a change and electing Stone just means more of the same in Sacramento!

Isn't it interesting that no one is talking about Mark Stone? Nobody's reading this letter online. Only 1 thumbs up.
