Mr. Baughman was born in Hollister and grew up in Felton before graduating from San Lorenzo Valley High School in 1966. He moved to Hollister and started a woodworking shop that lasted 10 years before moving to Santa Clara to work for a wafer company.
Mr. Baughman retired and moved to Ryderwood, Wash., to be closer to his sons.
Mr. Baughman is survived by his mother, Laura A. Baughman of Hollister; two brothers, Bud Baughman of Leavenworth and Keith Baughman of Felton; two sons, Todd M. Baughman of The Dalles, Ore., and Bryan M. Baughman of Vancouver, Wash.; three grandchildren; and two nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by father, Harry Baughman.
Neptune Society of Portland, Ore., handled arrangements. A celebration of life was held May 10.
