A 39-year-old man has gone missing from a home on Rose Acres Lane in Felton. Jay Barker, who is described as a white man with black hair and a dark complexion, has been missing since Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m.

He is a dependent male who is known to smoke cigarettes and frequents the Felton area. He is about 6 feet tall and has a scar on his left elbow and triceps area. Deputies said he may talk to himself or show anti-social behavior.

However, family members told the Sheriff's Office that Barker has left for several days before returning in past instances. He has only lived on Rose Acres Lane for a short time, and as of Wednesday at 5 p.m., his whereabouts remain unknown.

The Sheriff’s Office conducted a search and rescue operation in Felton from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22. Deputies passed out fliers to businesses in Felton and the surrounding area.

Anyone with information about Barker’s whereabouts is asked to call Sheriff’s dispatch at 471-1121 and refer to case No. 12-04285.
