Reduce library fines with food

To celebrate National Library Week, April 8 to 14, Santa Cruz County residents can bring nonperishable food donations to county library branches to reduce their fines. Each item will equal $1 worth of fines waived, up to $20. Fines for lost or damaged materials, however, will not be waived. All donations will benefit Second Harvest Food Bank.

Contact local library branches for information or to participate.
