The club, founded by chair Colly Gruczelak, meets on the first Sunday of each month. The membership is divided into groups of six with one couple acting as the host for that dinner and will prepare the entrée and sides.
Another couple is responsible for the evenings’ wine and the third couple prepares a gourmet desert. The club members talk about each dinner before the event to determine what wines and food items to bring. On average, 5 to 6 dinners take place on the designated night and the dinners begin at 5 p.m. and usually end between 8 and 9 p.m.
The group prides itself on making new friends with similar interests, sharing great food and cooking tips, while discussing the occasional failure.
The dinner club welcomes prospective new members, both singles and couples over
21-years-old, to attend a barbecue on April 10 among the redwoods in the
