EDITOR,

The Scotts Valley Lions Club created a truly amazing transformation recently by painting the Assisted Living Project's home at 11 Glenwood in Scotts Valley.  In preparation two members of the club pressure washed the house a week ahead of the big work day. On Saturday, July 6, eight members of the group arrived with ladders, brushes, painter’s tape, tarps and a paint sprayer. By 3 p.m. the house had been transformed into a neighborhood beauty with a lovely light aqua base color and white trim. The aqua paint was acquired free from the Ben Lomond Transfer Station. All residents of the house provided big smiles of approval. Thank you very much Scotts Valley Lions for this extremely generous gift of community service!
