The Santa Cruz County Clerk's Office certified the county results of the Nov. 6 general election, this afternoon, Dec. 4.
McPherson, of Pasatiempo, garnered 12,258 votes, a mere 145 votes more than runner-up Eric Hammer of Brookdale, who received 12,113 votes.
The November election was a runoff between the two candidates, as McPherson was just shy of the 50 percent, plus-one vote he needed to win the seat during the June primary.

Now I'm wondering if we can get the Ben Lomond transfer station open on Saturdays again.
What do you say?
That does not mean that everyone MUST vote on every issue and every candidate. I am fine if uninformed people abstain on issues or candidates or elections that they don't know anything about.
I do like it when informed voters go to the polls.
Congratulations Bruce. You have the support of so many San Lorenzo Valley residents.
