Aug. 4

6:17 a.m.: A man was arrested and his vehicle impounded after he was pulled over by deputies on the 9400 block of Highway 9 in Ben Lomond. Deputies allegedly found him to be under the influence of drugs, and a probation search of the vehicle allegedly turned up methamphetamine and liquid steroids.

4:09 p.m.: Several items were reported stolen from a vehicle that was burglarized on the 5300 block of Graham Hill Road in Felton.


Aug. 2

Midnight: Deputies approached a woman on a parcel of property on the 100 block of Riverside Avenue in Ben Lomond that she had been advised to leave in the past. She was arrested on suspicion of trespassing and for outstanding warrants.


Aug. 1

Midnight: A parolee was arrested for a warrant on the 13100 block of Central Avenue in Boulder Creek. During a search, deputies allegedly found a large concealed knife, a radio scanner, two needles, methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia in his possession.


July 30

7 p.m.: An Apple iPad, prescription medications and cash were reported stolen from a locked cabin at 37 Conference Drive that someone entered through an unlocked bathroom window.


Scotts Valley Police Department

Aug. 3

9:30 p.m.: A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing cocaine and cultivating marijuana when a SWAT team, acting on a report of drug sales activity, served a search warrant on his house on Willis Road in Scotts Valley. The search allegedly turned up 120 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, several containers of processed marijuana, cocaine, and large sums of cash.
