Local bank to display park paintings
Five branches of Santa Cruz County Bank have opened the company’s fall exhibit, titled “Painting our Parks,” which celebrates local and national parks through the works of 14 local artists, all members of Santa Cruz Oil Painters.
The paintings will be on display until Jan. 18 and include more than 100 plein air-style paintings of California parks, including local landmarks, such as the pond at Quail Hollow, alongside the famous cliffs of Yosemite.
Artists will donate 20 percent of art sales to Friends of Santa Cruz County State Parks.
