Kathryn Balch, sister of the bride, was her maid of honor, and sisters Sarah Young and Claire Barmby were her matrons of honor. Laura’s bridesmaids were Mariah Patty, Karie Short, Chelsey Hadley, Lauren Bischoff and Chenisha Sangha.
The best men were Tyler Sierra and Seth Gillis, best friends of the groom. The groomsmen were Luke Balch, Bryan Sullivan, Nate Ellis, Colton Williams, Jesse Salas and D.J. Hardison.
The ring bearer was Austin Perry Long, and the flower girl was Carli Fayth Ward.
Kathryn Balch performed a song during the ceremony, accompanied on guitar by Steve Palazzo of Santa Cruz.
The newlyweds spent their honeymoon in Costa Rica before returning to their new home in Springfield, Mo.
Laura Balch, 21, a 2009 graduate of Scotts Valley High School, is a senior at Evangel University in Springfield, where she is studying mathematics. Ryan Patty, 20, is completing a degree in Biblical studies, also at Evangel University. Both expect to graduate in May.
